Interior Inspiration

I really have this thing for neutrals. Lately I'm feeling all white floors, curtains, and walls to really let curated décor pop. With my recent move to NYC, I've turned to Pinterest to help me edit a really wonderful selection of pieces for our apartment.

My guy and I never saw the apartment we signed up for until we moved in, so we were a little uneasy about what it might look like. Let me just tell you, it's a DREAM. I'm talking 10 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, tons of natural light. The perfect setting for my ideal home.

Here are the three global styles that inspire me right now, and and a few similar pieces. Though they're influenced by such different places, they somehow kind of work together:

I'm talking soft sheepskins, modern shapes, and natural wooden finishes.

One King's Lane lamp, Stilnovo lounge chair, CB2 sheepskin throw

Ahh, the city full of chic little cafés. Channel them with a black & white dining area.

CB2 Hackney Marble table, IKEA Älmsta Chairs, and this adorable little potted philodendron plant by local NYC houseplant specialist The Sill

This one's all about the leather, cacti, and cool prints. I love upping the cool factor by keeping everything in neutral colors, too.

West Elm cowhide rug, The Sill case study cactus, IKEA Lappljung Ruta pillow cover, and West Elm axel leather sofa.

Stay tuned for before/after pics of the place!
