It's been a while since I last posted... I've been working my butt off and it's finally paying off. Looks like I'll be heading to New York City next month with a one-way ticket and no current plans yet to head back to California. I'm both excited and scared, but as a 22 (almost 23!) year old workaholic with big dreams, I know there's no place that's better for me right now.
In the months before my move, I've been focusing on myself with amazing yoga classes here in Sacramento, spending more time with my family, and taking as many vacations as possible before I start a true 9-to-5.
My dad was generous enough to treat my boyfriend and myself to an incredible cruise around the Baltic, topped off with a week in London (complete with a shopping spree in Harrods!). Thought I'd post a couple of my favorite pics of our trip!
Above: outside cafes and inside galleries in Kiel, Germany
Tallinn, Estonia: a charming town with gorgeous East-meets-West architectural influence with castles, churches, and cobblestone streets. Pictured above is the famed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and my favorite little local artisan housewares boutique: Paul Pikk. I picked up a gorgeous gold sculptural vase, and hand woven linen tassel pillows.
Above: St. Petersburg, Russia. The churches, palaces, and general royal displays are phenomenal. Clockwise from top left: the fountain show in the gardens behind Peterhof (Peter the Great's Palace), The Church on Spilled Blood, St. Isaac's Cathedral (the third largest in the world), and Catherine's Palace.
Too many photos, too little time! I'll cover second half of my trip later this week. To be continued...
