Happy Monday!! It's hard to believe it's nearly Thanksgiving. I mean the weather has changed and I've begun playing Christmas music, but I feel like I just moved here and it's been FIVE months. Five. It's hard to wrap my head around. Random strangers have started asking me for directions. Does that mean I look like a local?? Yikes, it's only been a minute.
This week, I wanted to do something fun by showing you two different ways to style a maxi dress for fall (well, midi on me, but it'd be a maxi on pretty much everyone else). Maxis have such a heavy rotation in my summer wardrobe but I never pull them out for fall & winter because I never thought they were practical.
This is seriously so easy to wear though. A trench and boots are easily fall staples, and make the dress a little less girly and a little more downtown... just my style. The dress was really affordable, too, so extra points for being both wallet friendly and versatile.
And it's backless! A little breezy when it gets really cold out, but since every building is heated it's really not an issue as I'm rarely outside without a jacket these days.
Stay tuned for part 2 later this week!
