This crop top was a great find at the ever-promising Gilt warehouse sale last week. I was lucky enough to be a part of press early access, but it was still pretty crazy. If you've never been to a sample sale, imagine what seems like endless racks of designer goods, flocked with hundreds of people (at this particular one, armed with red wine), and people changing in the aisles in an effort to get to the best picks quickly. You find things like Isabel Marant sweaters at 80% off, but you have to be aggressive, B-E AGGRESSIVE.
Luckily I didn't have to throw any punches, but I managed to snag this adorable little top (for $30!) to pair with pencil skirts now and high-waisted pants later, like these oxblood beauties.
And this coat and bag... gorgeous right? They were part of a very special trip to Harrod's with my dad earlier this summer, and some of the most precious pieces in my wardrobe. It's always the sentimental pieces that are the best, no? It doesn't hurt that they're absolutely beautiful, though.
Anyway, I feel like I could call the shots in this top. It's a little bit referee-ish, but I kind of love it. Does that count as athleisure?
